LETTER WRITING GUIDELINES:

1. To increase the chance of getting your letters printed, word lengths should total 200-250 words.

2. Please include your full name, daytime phone number, and address when sending your letter (and if you feel uncomfortable doing so, forward the letter to me: letters@prochoicewisconsin.org, and I will find someone to sign it themselves).

3. Center around one topic (i.e. so-called "partial birth abortion"; emergency contraception; the importance of having pro-choice representatives).

4. Cite references to statistics and facts, using quotes when necessary to provide support. Please be sure to proofread all documents before sending.

5. Most importantly, please email letters@prochoicewisconsin.org any time you send a letter, whether it's a sample or one you've written. Also, please notify me if it is accepted.

Thank you so much!
